He was nervous. He was excited. He couldn’t wait to see her.
She came through door, looking absolutely stunning with the biggest smile he had ever seen. He lost it.
She made her way to her groom, escorted by her cheerful brother Will. Will was beaming almost as brightly as his sister. When they reached the alter, the officiate who was doubling as the father of the bride, asked who gave this woman to this man in marriage. Will, with all the excitement of a child on Christmas morning, exclaimed “Me! It’s Me!”. Who wouldn’t be excited for this incredible couple on the most incredible day!
Lydia and Christian are two of the sweetest, kindest, funniest and most genuine couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. No two people are more deserving of happiness than these two servant hearts. When I arrived at the venue all their friends and family where abuzz with excitement, bustling around decorating every detail of Sojourn Community Church, Lydia and Christian’s new home church. It was simply a beautiful ceremony and fellowship afterwards was filled with laughter, happy tears, smiles, cake, and ice cream! We finished the day in the beautiful and scenic Coolidge Park on the North Shore of Chattanooga.
Lydia and Christian, if I could photograph your wedding 5 or 10 more times I would jump at the opportunity. Lydia, I love your kind and light heart, your funny personality, and your classic style. I mean your dress had pockets, how awesome is that! Christian, I love your thoughtful and kind nature and the way your clearly love your new wife with all your heart. You guys are a special couple and I will cherish the memories I’ve had with you and look forward to photographing more moments in your lives that are still to come!
