MY WEDDING RECEPTION!

Josh and I were married in Asheville North Carolina (blog post to come) on May 7, 2018 in a private ceremony.  We ran off into the North Carolina mountains and said our I dos with only an officiant and photo/video team to be witnesses.  While this was always our dream, we didn’t want to miss out on celebrating with all our friends and family.  So we decided to throw the biggest party of our lives!  We had the SO MUCH FUN!  So many people came out to eat, drink and be merry with us!

We started the night with a photo shoot courtesy of my brother, and business partner in Sarah Larae Photography.  Yes, his name is also Josh and yes it is confusing.  He did such a great job!  I have always wanted to take photos in my front yard because every evening I think “man the light is so good out here”.

Before the party was rolling Josh’s parents gave us some very emotional gifts.  I received a beautiful pair of pearl earrings and Josh received his “Pawpaws” gold pocket watch.  Papaw passed away 3 years ago and it hurt us both they he couldn’t be there, but we know he was drinking a beer and toasting us in heaven!  Next we ate a lot of chicken from Champy’s, drank alot of beer, and danced the night away!  During the night we had some very touching and funny toasts made by our brothers and a very good friend and wedding coordinator Todd Kyle.  One of the absolute highlights was another good friend, Cameron Grimsley, came out and played Careless Whisper on sax SHIRTLESS and in a RED MULLET WIG!  Josh and I have a similar and strange sense of humor so we just thought this was amazing (do yourself a favor and google “sergio sexy sax man”).  Cameron is amazing at most things, including wedding videography and making wedding reception dreams come true!

Thank you to everyone who came out!  It was an unforgettable night and one that Josh and I will treasure forever!

Special thanks to Spot Venue, Lily Lou Rentals, Champy’s Chicken, Brittany Hall the bartender, Frost Cupcakes (Brandy Waters), ChattaBooth Photo Booth and my amazing Mom and Dad for making all of this happen!
