I’ve photographed a lot of engagement sessions and weddings and I’ve learned some things. I’ve learned that all couples are different. They have different ways they interact and levels of intimacy, affection, and playfulness. THIS couple has a ton of natural chemistry. The best way I can describe it is they are wrapped up in each other. They are so tender with each other, even in the way they talk to each other.
I know I’m going to cry at their wedding next month, I’m that wedding photographer. I’m the one who has to work hard to fight back the tears so I can see what I’m shooting. The main reason I cry at weddings is I love romance. Another reason is I get so emotionally invested in my couples. I get to know them in the planning process and during the engagement session. As a human I really connect with them beyond being their photographer and I feel a part of their love story.
I cannot wait for Hugo and Laura’s wedding! It’s going to be as epic as this engagement session!
