I was alone on a cliff a 100 yards away from the overlook that I knew something special was about to happen. I was sweating and nervous and shaking. At any moment I would see Ryan and Hope walk out on the rock. Then he was going to ask Hope to marry him. I can’t remember the last time I was so nervous. Why? I have no idea, maybe it was I was leaning against a railing or I just knew how important this was. Either way it was totally worth it!!
I traveled all the way to California for a workshop hosted by one of my dearest friends, Ryn. The workshop alone was enough to make me vibrate with excitement, but then I heard there was going to be a REAL Yosemite proposal at Taft Point and I squealed! I met Ryan and Hope that morning, but I quickly realized how awesome they are. They were clearly best friends and that’s one of my favorite qualities in a couple. They did such an amazing job modeling for us all day, literally all day. I truly enjoyed by time with them and I wish them all the happiness in the world!
