Game of Thrones Themed Wedding

This Game of Thrones themed wedding shoot was so good for my nerd heart.  When I booked this styled shoot it was before the last season had begun.  At the time, I was so excited to see the epic conclusion to one of my favorite fantasy series.  To be honest, the ending broke my heart and I was bitter about it FOR MONTHS.  I didn’t even want to do this shoot because I was so upset about the how the conclusion was written.  However, soon after arriving on site and looking at all the amazing work done by Penny, Nicole, Becky, Brittany and all the other amazing vendors involved my heart began to heal.  I have since made up my own ending in my head where all the dragons and direwolves are alive and well.  John and Daenarys are together and Arya killed Cersei.  You know nothing David Benioff and DB Weiss (the writers)!

I loved the faux fur and rustic elegance that was a part of this shoot.  I could totally see an epic winter wedding being styled like this.  This venue in Trenton, GA was amazing.  Oakleaf cottage is perfect in literally every season.  Each season brings a totally different look to Oakleaf Cottage.  The barn and cottage are so quaint and perfect for intimate weddings.  If you are looking for an intimate venue surrounded by twinkle lights and what must be a magical forest Oakleaf cottage is a must see!  All the vendors pulled together an amazing experience for me to shoot, including Trilogy designs and P. Chevalley artistry!  Check out all their links at the bottom!
