Missy was nervous as she came up the stairs and saw the love of her life with his back turned.  She started to cry as she approached him and paused.  I encouraged her to go forward but reassured her to call his name whenever she was ready.  As she moved forward Jim heard the crumpling of plastic and said “I hear a trash bag”.  Missy burst into laughter.  You see, Missy was nervous about what Jim would think of her and her dress on their wedding day.  Jim had lovingly told her many times “Darling you could wear a trash bag and I would still think you look beautiful”.  Missy, having an incredible sense of humor, decided to test that statement and literally wore a trash bag to their “First Look”.  Jim was true to his word.  He told Missy, both before and after the trash bag was removed, she looked beautiful.

This wedding at the Turnbull Building on the southside of Chattanooga was full of so many unique and awesome touches.  Everything from the shell casing boutonnieres to the yummy mini pies!  Shelby, the wedding coordinator, kept the day running smoothly and DJ Terry kept the partying going!  I felt so welcomed by Missy, Jim and both of their families.  It was such a magical day!

Thank you for choosing me to capture your wedding day.  I loved getting to know both of you throughout the process.  Missy, you have always been so kind to me and are BEAUTIFUL inside and out.  Jim,  I’m continually fascinated by all the cool stories you have and all the incredible life experiences you have already gained.  Both of you have such cool personalities and I wish you both all the happiness in the world!
