If you have dreamed of getting married in a little white chapel on a beautiful farm in the french countryside then The Highlands Chapel at Howe Farms is perfect for you.  When Kate of Harper Events contacted me about doing this shoot I was beyond excited.  Kate was originally inspired by the french countryside, but after discussing floral ideas with Erin from Joli Jardin we decided to incorporate so local, organic, in-season flowers.  I love how these flowers gave it are more of a wild and free touch to an otherwise traditional aesthetic.

This venue has so much character.  From the bridal suite to the multiple ceremony options (inside or outside) it has everything you could want in a quaint venue.  The reception hall is the perfect size and what we were able to create in that space is probably my favorite part of this shoot.  The custom chandelier designed by Erin is adds to much detail and elevates the whole tablescape.  The night was ended with some photo with one of Howe Farm’s classic cars.  Who wouldn’t feel like a princess in a vintage Rolls Royce?!

We had such a hard time deciding on a dress from OZ bridal we decided to bring both!  The first gown fit our model like a glove and accented her natural beauty.  The buttons down the back added so much drama.  The second dress had a beautiful train and I love that sleeves are back in a big way! For the groom, Giorgio’s nailed it again with a grey suit that matched the clean, crisp color palette.

Last but not least, I want to talk about the macaroons!  Noogaroons came and did a tower of deliciousness and beauty!  I love cake, but I also love it when couple’s decide to do something different so I thought this was a great option.  They even packaged some to offer as favors for guests!

I truly love how this shoot came together and I had a great time hanging out with some great people.  I can’t thank everyone involved enough for pulling this together and creating some magic for me to photograph at The Highlands Chapel at Howe Farms!  Let me know in the comments what you liked about this shoot!  What could you see in your wedding?
