The chills on my arms began to creep up when Chad’s father, doubling as the officiant,  stopped during the ceremony to specifically address Jordan’s parents.  At first he simply thanked them for raising such a wonderful daughter.  Then his next sentence struck me hard in the heart.  He thanked them for praying for his son even before they knew him.  Before Chad and Jordan even met, both of their parents had prayed for the person they would marry.  I’m not a particularly religious person, but this sentiment made me tearful.  Suddenly, I understood how Chad and Jordan turned out to be such kind and gracious people.  They were surrounded by a loving family who cared for them deeply throughout their lives and especially in that moment.  This wedding at Candlelight Ridge was lit!

Thank you so much for choosing me to capture this amazing day.  I was truly inspired by the joy in your eyes, Jordan, and the protective, tenderness in Chad’s face when he looks at you.  In all the weddings I’ve seen, Chad’s reaction when you came down that aisle is one of my all-time favorites!  The only thing better than his face was Petra chasing the two of you down the aisle!  I’m not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best days ever!  You had so many HYPED friends and family to celebrate you and that really speaks to how amazing the both of you are.  I wish you both all the happiness in the world because I can’t think of two people  who are more deserving of it!
