How to Edit Quickly and Deliver Wedding Galleries in 30 days

Every contract I sign has a guarantee.  I promise my clients they will see all their photos within 30 days AND have the ability to download them.  You might have noticed the average turnaround time for wedding photographers is 4- 8 weeks, sometimes longer.  How do I do this so quickly?  Am I a wizard? Well, yes (see pic below for proof)…but magic is not how accomplish a quick turnaround time for my clients.

My Editing Style is Authentic

The biggest thing is the way that I shoot and my photography style.  If you take a look at my portfolio and blog posts you will notice I don’t over edit.  I don’t do a lot of retouching for the bulk of my images.  Major skin smoothing and nip/tucking and making you look a Frankenstein version of who you are is not my style. I’m looking for more authenticity.  However, that doesn’t mean I can’t or won’t edit out that zit that popped up out of nowhere that morning or remove unflattering wrinkles in your favorite images.

I am a Posing and Lighting Wizard

Additionally, I don’t have to do a lot of editing to make you look good. I use my lighting and posing wizard skills to make sure the images look great “in camera”.  I also pay attention to the details.  If there are people walking in the background, I’ll wait the 45 seconds for them to move out of frame.  When their are distracting cars in the background we will change locations or my angle so that you can’t see them.   If your water bottle is at your feet, I’ll come move it out of frame.  Little details like that while we are shooting will make a big difference in the amount of editing I need to do.  In the image below I spent a few minutes while the bride was in the bathroom cleaning the getting ready space and so I didn’t have to spend an eternity editing out water bottles and make-up bags.

My Processes are Fine-Tuned

Another factor is my workflow.  I have invested in the best equipment and software I can find to make sure I can do what I need to do as quickly as possible.  That means lots of RAM and a 2 software products called Photomechanic and Lightroom.  I have also spent years honing a system that makes the process quick and relatively painless.

I Work Hard for My Clients to Provide an Excellent Service

The last contributor to quick editing and fast image production is simple: I work really hard.  I know that when I was a bride I couldn’t wait to see my wedding photos.  I was so excited!  For this reason I will bust my butt for my clients!  It truly isn’t easy, but I do it. Why?  Because I believe in providing the best service possible and a high-end experience!   You deserve my absolute best effort!
