Wedding at Five Dollar Farm: Jake + Victoria

Jake and Victoria have taken tons selfies at the bar at Pizza Bros.  This bar is where they have eaten a lot of pizza, drank a lot of beer, and connected on so many levels during their weekly date nights at Pizza Bros.  However this particular selfie was special.  This was their first selfie as husband and wife, on their wedding day!

I watched the happy couple settle into their routine eating and drinking their favorite meal together.  I fell in love with the way Jake looks at Victoria.  He has a tenderness with her that he doesn’t have with anyone else, except his son Malachi.  Another one of my favorite moments of the day was just after the ceremony.  Jake took his now wife’s hand and his son’s hand and lead them confidently back into the house with a look of pride and pure joy on his face.  Before going inside he paused and they all three embraced in the sweetest and happiest of hugs.

My favorite moment of the day was Victoria, the BRIDE, surprised ME with the most amazing and thoughtful gift!  She got me Mickey Ears with CAMERAS ON THEM!  I was speechless and tears came to my eyes.  I’m still in shock over it.

This day was uniquely about this awesome couple.  We started in their backyard, moved on to Pizza Bros, and ending with a great reception at Five Dollar Farm.

I love it when couples choose to make their ceremony private.  Even though if you asked Victoria she wouldn’t call it a ceremony, she would prefer “legal requirements”.  Whatever you call it,  it’s sweet and important to make those vows in a way that make the couple most comfortable.  You couldn’t have picked a more perfect location than their own backyard with epic views of Ringgold and the Tennessee Valley.  I was so impressed with every detail of this day, especially their reception!  You can tell Jake and Victoria are loved by so many people who worked tirelessly to pull off an elegant and magical wedding at Five Dollar Farm.

Jake and Victoria,

Thank you for choosing me to capture this amazing and fun day!  Not only did we create some amazing photos and memories but we created a real friendship that will be around for many anniversaries to come!  Love you two!!
