It was a rainy day on Kathryn & Elliott’s wedding day. Rain on wedding days is said to be a sign of good luck in marriage, not that Kathryn and Elliott need it. They have been through so much together already and have proven they don’t need luck, they have something more lasting and pure. Real Love. Real love that not only gets through things like a rainy day, but actually appreciates and cherishes the hardships as they walk through them. Elliott approached me and asked me to help him find a jar or something to collect the rain so he could make a Christmas ornament for Kathryn. The planner, Penny, and I *MELTED*. What a wonderful idea to cherish something that some would see as a bummer or worse.
It was truly a wonderful day! The Venue at Lilly Lou’s is one of my favorite wedding venues near Chattanooga. It has so many beautiful spots for photos and has truly been curated and styled specifically for weddings. The white draping in the reception hall is so elegant and full of class and the new doors opening to the beautiful mountain view is stunning.
Kathryn & Elliott, Thank you for choosing me to be a part of this very special day. You two are so fun, funny, gracious, kind, and just a true pleasure to be around. I can’t wait to go to dinner with you two soon!
