What a year!  2021 was full of so much love!  I had the opportunity to photograph so many amazing weddings and couples this year!  Looking back I could not be more grateful for so many couples trusting me with their memories.  I also grateful for all the connections and friendships I’ve made in this business.  My favorite moments from this year in my business include:  Traveling to Pennsylvania for Nicole & Kyle’s wedding, Traveling to Destin for Caty & Simon’s wedding, finally getting to see the last of my 2020 couples get married,  Chloe & Jamison’s EPIC last dance on a cloud and realizing Chloe is actually my 2nd cousin at her wedding (I held her as a baby!), being published over 10 times (including in a ACTUAL magazine), being asked to participate in multiple styled shoots with venues and coordinators, photographing wedding ceremonies from so many different cultures and backgrounds (jewish, ethiopian, egyptian, indian), doing more videography at Oakleaf Cottage with Hillary from Wandermoore Elopements and hitting and exceeding my 2021 income goals!

Personally 2021 has had some extreme highs and extreme lows.  We lost my best friend, Shooter, and life will never be the same (read more about Shooter and Max here).  I’m still grieving.  Despite things never being the same we know that our new normal can still bring as joy. Shooter wouldn’t want it any other way.  We welcomed 2 puppies, Trigger and Gimli, into our lives and they have brought us so much joy and a lot of mess to clean up!  I got to visit Disneyland for the first time since I was 6 and it was incredible!  Of course I also got to visit my favorite place, Disney World, and became an ANNUAL PASSHOLDER!

I can’t wait to see what 2022 has to offer me and my business.  I have some big goals and even bigger dreams!  I’m looking forward to opening my own studio and launching my boudoir brand!  I also will be hosting some workshops and launching some more education in 2022!   It’s going to be a very busy and very big year!
