I walked in the door of River’s Edge Venue with all my gear in tow and as soon as I saw Courtney I dropped everything. We both burst into tears and hugged. Actually, we squealed like little girls and then burst into tears and hugged. A few bridesmaids even came to see what was wrong, but it was just us being the goofy girls we are. I grew a friendship with Brandon and Courtney over the last couple of months. They also happen to be amazing photographers. We bonded over our passion for photography. It was so touching to see these two amazing people get married, and on Mother’s Day! This Mother’s Day wedding was no scheduling accident. It was a nod to Courtney’s beautiful Mother who unfortunately passed last year. Her spirit was everywhere and I have no doubt she was smiling down! It couldn’t have been a coincidence that the torrential rain stopped and the sun peeked through the clouds just in time for their ceremony!
Brandon & Courtney, Thank you for choosing me to be your friend and photographer! It truly was as a pleasure and honor to be chosen by two people in my profession to photograph one of the most important days of their lives. I can’t wait to come visit in Savannah!!!!!
